Arcata Arts Institute AME/CTE Demonstration Day

Who Should Attend:

Educators of Arts, Media, or Technology
Administrators, Counselors, Principals, Superintendents
Advocates for Art and STEAM Education

What:

Professional Development (New this year!)

    • Maximizing Community Support/Industry Participation

    • Guidance on how to set up your own master classes

    • Student leadership strategies

    • Tools to align curriculum to CTE/AME Anchor and Pathway Standards

Tour of our new, grant funded Fine Arts Building, and CoLab (our maker space)

Student performances

Breakfast and Lunch provided by the Arcata High Culinary Arts Program
Demonstrations of our Master Classes

Complimentary tickets to attend Urinetown The Musical, at 7pm that evening
As a Demonstration Site for the California Department of Education, AAI is
considered a model school for statewide arts, media, and entertainment programs.
This demo day is a chance to showcase our success as a creative collective and to present the work of our talented students and educators.

    Do you mean March 30 or May 30?

    May 30 is not a Friday and it is not when Urinetown is running so I was curious.

    Thank you for sending this information on the AAI Demo Day. I noticed that on this announcement the Demo day is scheduled for May 30th, however at the registration page the event is set for March 30th.
