Arcata Arts Institute’s highly anticipated annual fashion showcase, Flow 2023, is just around the corner. Celebrating its 16th year, the event promises to be a spectacular showcase of the commitment and dedication of the Institute’s talented fashion design students.

This year’s event will feature 14 student designers, each showcasing their original pieces in over 50 breathtaking outfits. From upcycling to hand-painted garments, crocheted items to glamorous silk, handmade jewelry and more, there will be something for every fashion lover to enjoy.

What sets Flow 2023 apart is that it’s entirely student-run, with the support of industry professionals. From designing the program and poster, to taking photos of the models, programming the lights, editing the music, and of course, designing and sewing everything you will see on stage – it’s an impressive collaborative effort.

The result is a truly magical event, where the audience can see, hear and feel the impact of the designs.
