AAI will have an exhibition titled Quietest Place at two locations.  Quietest Place will be at both Redwood Yogurt (1573 G St, Arcata) and at Wildberries Marketplace (747 13th St, Arcata) in the sunroom. The exhibits will feature art created by our Visual Art and Media artists.  Artists were asked to locate their own quietest place.  going for a walk until they found that place of calm and quiet,  represent it in an artwork.

Live music will be performed by Arcata Arts Institute musicians during the opening at Redwood Yogurt, Dec. 8th,  Friday night from 6pm – 8pm.

Both exhibitions will be up through January.
