We are so excited to share this documentary with our community! It tells the story of our fall devised theatre project that we made in collaboration with Dell Arté. It gives a wonderful sense of what AAI is all about and shows the power of collaboration, theatre, creativity and art.

Community Layers, is a student devised and created piece. This multi-media performance piece incorporates original student compositions in music, visual and media arts, aerial dance, and theatre.  Based on true stories, Community Layers delves into individual experiences in a way that helps to portray the interconnections between us all.

The documentary was made by Lynette Nutter of A Nutter Production and was paid for by a grant from the California Arts Council.
